Where Has The Time Gone?

I haven't sculpted anything in so long.....I don't know why...maybe it was because things are selling so poorly on eBay...rather OOAK Sculpts are selling slow....I sold some of Mike's Polo shirts and they sold well and quick.  I am going to be traveling for almost the whole month of August so it will probably be September before I sculpt again.  I miss it!

New Ethnic AA Girl Bundle Baby

I just put a new Bundle Baby on eBay.  She is a sweet little African American newborn baby girl.  She is tiny...only a little over three inches in her bundled up blanket.  She was born with lots of dark brown black hair that I was able to tie into little teeny ponys and put pink satin bows on each one.  Her eyes are black glass and she has the cutest little button nose and sweet little mouth.  I make her with Professional Prosculpt clay and painted her with Genesis Heat Paints.  I glossed her tiny little lips too.  I made the patchwork blanket of delicate flowers just for her.  I wrapped her little body....no limbs...gently in the blanket and tied it together with a white satin ribbon.  You are going to love this little one!  Here is her eBay link.

I Sold Little Amber And Her Nightie And Now Check Out Baby Puppy Boy

What a surprise.....my friend Audrey bought my little toddler Amber from me off eBay.  And Amber is on her way to  Washington State.
I just put a new bundle baby on eBay....he is newborn baby puppy boy.  He is so cute.  I made his darling little puppy hat with long brown and white puppy ears.  He looks so cute in it.  He has light baby brown mohair and a permanent pacifier.  I also made his tiny blanket just for him.  It is blue flannel with brown and white puppies on it and it is pure white flannel on the other side.  Check him out.

We are In Pensacola, Florida

We are visiting Mike's Dad and enjoying the beach at Pensacola, Florida.  I haven't made any babies or bears since the first of April and I'm really starting to miss it.  I brought my bear box and I am thinking I should cut out a little bear and start making it NOW!

New Toddler Baby Girl Amber

I just finished a toddler baby girl OOAK sculpt that I named Amber.
She is about 7 inches with jointed head and limbs and a soft body.  She doesn't have open eyes...she is a sleeping closed eyed baby.

I wish I would have made her eyes open because she can be posed sitting so nicely....she is very easy to pose.  I put a little steel shot in her doeskin body along with the polyfil and it's extra weight always works so nicely.  I used Genesis Heat Paint on her and it worked beautifully.  She has pink glossed lips in a slightly open position.  She has the cutest little button nose and a very peaceful, serene look on her sweet face.  I baked and glued locks of beautiful curly golden blond hair on her little head.  I gave her curly bangs and two long curly pony tailed tied with tiny pink silk ribbons.  She has chubby limbs with baby wrinkles. Her legs are slightly bent with the cutest knees and feet you have ever seen.

I made her special pink fluffy, furry slippers that tie with pink silk ribbons.
Her fists are closed and can be posed towards her head, out to her sides, or down to her sides.
Her teddy is made of clay and covered with tiny curls of golden bear fur.  It is not jointed. She can hold and cuddle her special OOAK sculpted tiny teddy bear that I made just for her.  She likes to keep her little teddy bear in the cute little hat that matches her fancy full, lacy, ruffly nightie.

Her night gown is made of flannel in beautiful colors of pink, white, and lime green.  She loves to twirl around the room in it.  I had her nightie especially made for her, by the seamstress at "Littibug", Stephanie Haskell.

She is also wearing fancy, lacy, big girl panties because you see Amber says she is "not a baby any more...she is potty trained"!
Amber is for sale on eBay right now and if you would like to see her there...this is the link....   http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110691595585&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Endeavor Space Shuttle Scrapped...Moved On To Pass A Grille

Since the Endeavor Space Shuttle Launching was scrapped, we decided to head to the Gulf Shore.  I love the Gulf white sand beaches and the beautiful blue green ocean water.  Much prettier than the Atlantic Ocean.  We are at Pass A Grille Beach near St. Pete.

Cocoa Beach 2011

Right now we are on a vacation with my youngest daughter and two of her children...Destany and Tanner.  We drove to Cocoa Beach from Michigan...a long, long way.  We are staying the Ocean Landings Resort Condos.  It is so nice, very well laid out and comfortable...right on the Atlantic Ocean.  There are lots of things to do right here at the condo....ocean, beach, pools, hot tub, picnic area to grill, tennis courts, live music, free wireless, and planned activities. We are having a good time...I'll tell more about it later in the week.

Toddler Cowboy Baby And Easter Newborn Baby Girl On eBay

I just put a little OOAK toddler baby boy and an OOAK Newborn Easter Baby Girl on eBay for 7 days.  The  boy is dressed as a Cowboy and I call him Cowboy Bobby.  I hand made him without molds and I also handmade most of his clothes...even his cute boots.  I made him a while ago and even made a Cowgirl Sister Jane for him.  I don't like to sell my newly made babies for a while, so I often keep them for several months before I put them on eBay.  Anyway if you would like to see him and read about him, go to this link.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110672940353

Here is one picture of Cowboy Bobby.

Well, maybe two....I just love this one....
doesn't it look like he is tipping his hat to you in this picture?

The little girl is dressed in a Berry Pink Romper Sleeper with a matching Bonnet and Booties.  I made her an Easter Bunny Dolly and a matching Easter Bunny Pasci.  she is resting in a beautiful Easter Egg Crib that is Lime Green with Roses the same color as her romper.  The Egg crib has some kind of beads on it to make it sparkly and it has a Lavender Ribbon with a bow tied around it.  The ribbon is attached to the egg so the lid can be removed without untying it.  Here are a couple of pictures of her.

I think she looks like she has kissy lips.

Isn't the Egg Crib pretty?
They both sold on eBay, but not for the price I would have liked to have gotten.
And that darn eBay charges too much in fees!

A New Bear Is Here----- A Panda Bear Is Number Eight

Well a little black and white Panda Bear was completed by me yesterday. He just loves the little red wagon I just bought....so, I guess that is his. He is very tiny, as you can see and very sweet.  He is bear number 8.   Here are his pictures.

After you stitch the little bears you are supposed to brush them briskly with a stiff toothbrush.  I can see that I forgot to do that on this little.  Pictures show you everything.  Also I need to cut some loose threads and them he will be perfect.  Don't you think?

A New Mini Hand Stitched Bear

I have a new mini bear that I am almost ready to show.  She is so tiny....here is her little head.

She is a teeny tiny creamy white one that is a fairy.  My first "Fairy Bear"!  She has lovely little yellow wings that can be removed and a tiny gold sparkly bow around her neck.  I still have to finish her hat and I have to paint the head of a pin gold and then her hat will be removable.  She is cute without the hat so.....I didn't want to make it not removable.  As soon as the hat is done and put on her, I will take pictures and put some on here.  Here she is:

Can you see the little black base she is standing on?  I made that so easy and it makes a great stand for Miniature Bears.  It is a lid...like on a spice containor that you can flip up the top if you don't want to screw it off.  Then I put a small rubber band around the flip and closed the flip part.  You can easily slip the feet of the bear under the rubber band and it stands.

Just Trying To Get Well

I haven't done anything fun lately.  I have had this bronchitis for quit a while and it doesn't show much signs of getting better.  Today, my cough is a little better but the right side of my face feels swollen and my nose and right eye will not quit running.  In our little town everything closed up on Thursday night, so I am trying to decide if I need to go to the Doctor again on Thursday or wait it out until next Monday.  I really wish I felt better so I could make those grunge necklaces, sculpt babies, hand stitch some mini teddy bears, and put things for sale on eBay and Esty.  I have the desire, just not the energy.

Bethany Planted My New Planter For Me

Here it is....the planter I won in OWOH all planted and ready to go. The planter called "Morning Song" was planted by my granddaughter, Bethany,  for me this week.  She put Shamrocks in it....doesn't it look sweet?  I looked for String of Pearls but couldn't find them.  Then I thought since it was March...St. Patrick's Day, Shamrocks would be good.  It is the first thing I see when I come down the stairs each morning.

Guess What?

My basement is flooded again for the second time in this month...The last time it was because the power was off for three days and the snow was melting and now it seems the sump pump is burnt out...how could that be?  It is only 3 or 4 year old.  I had stored summer clothes and such in plastic tubs and stacked them on top of each other.  Well, they floated, tipped over, and filled with water.  I'm trying to dry out and wash and dry what I can.

This is the culprit...the rotten sump pump that failed and made my basement flood....twice in one month.

A whole bunch of my Christmas books were in a blue basket on top of the tubs...safe wouldn't you think? no..no...no....not safe...tipped over and upside down in about 2 feet of water.
That is what made me the saddest.  I have had many of those books since my daughters were little and I usually put the big blue basket of Christmas books out by the tree for each Christmas.  Well, I was able to save three I think and I'll just order the special ones off eBay and get them as  presents in the mail...just love to get  presents in the mail.  Then this summer when garage sales start I will look for new great Christmas books and fill that basket back up with better books.

I have been coughing for almost 3 weeks...from working in the basement the last time it flooded...wonder how sick I will get and how long I will cough now?  Smile, I know it could be worse!

Tiffany And I Were Pretty Busy On Saturday

Here are the things we worked on.  Tiffany made new things and I tried to finish up some things I had started.
Here's my things.
The Bunny in the basket was something new.  I made the bunny out of plush felt...it looks like it is needle felted doesn't it?

I had started the head the other day but I needed to paint and put hair on it.  Can you see that the tongue is curled and ready to nurse?

The Little girl needed long blond curls, so I glued them on and tied them with a ribbon.  I wish I had made this little girl have open eyes.  She sits up so nicely.  Since her eyes are closed I think she needs a night gown and I don't have one...I will have to find one to buy.

I had two baby teddy bear cubs made...and I wanted to make one more.  I made this one a little blond girl with delicate features and she is sleeping.

This picture is a little blurry but I like they way it shows this little girl's sweet face.

This baby Teddy Bear Girl was already made but I gave her tiny eye lashes.

Here are all three of the Baby Teddy Bear Cubs!  They all have bear cub hats that will come off and they all have mohair on their sweet heads.

Here is my messy work table after I finished everything.  Wheeeee!  Worked all afternoon and well up into morning.  What fun!

Tiffany was hard at work on this green blob of clay...what was it going to be?

Here it is....a Baby Dragon!

Isn't it sweet?
This little one is cute from all sides.

The finished product. Tiffany is a great little artist.

Then I asked if she would have time to make me some little bear pacifiers.
Of course she did!

I had said earlier that I wish I could find a little giraffe on eBay and before I knew it she had made one just for me.  What a surprise?

Darling!

Just what I wanted.
Thank you Tiffany.

Here he is...right on my top shelf of my Baby Curio.

Right by my baby elephant.
